Welcome to Common Ground School

Unlocking Human Potential

At Common Ground School, we believe in the limitless potential of every individual. Our purposefully small private school is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where both neurotypical and neurodivergent learners can thrive. We provide PreK 3, VPK and K-12 services.

Our Mission

Common Ground School exists to:

  • Foster Inclusivity:  We embrace diversity and create a welcoming community where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Empower Learning: Through personalized and adaptive teaching methods, we nurture the unique strengths and talents of each student.
  • Encourage Growth: We provide a safe and stimulating environment that promotes intellectual, emotional, and social development.

Our Approach

We understand that every student is different, and our approach reflects that:

  • Individualized Learning Plans: Tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each student, ensuring they receive the attention and support they deserve.
  • Supportive Environment: Our small class sizes allow for a more personalized education, fostering strong relationships between students and teachers.
  • Inclusive Curriculum: Designed to be engaging and accessible, our curriculum caters to a variety of learning styles and abilities.

Conscious Discipline

At Common Ground School, we subscribe to the principles of Conscious Discipline and the teachings of Dr. Becky Bailey. This evidence-based, trauma-informed approach empowers students to manage their emotions, develop self-regulation skills, and build meaningful connections with others.
